Barnhill is a humanistic psychotherapy and counselling service set up by Sue Crofton in 2001.  Humanistic therapy sees the individual as having the capacity for self-healing and finding meaning.  Where some other approaches might put more emphasis on theory, humanists believe that the qualities and personal skills of the therapist, including regarding each person as unique, are paramount.

I am based in Wembley Park. I also see people at Finsbury Park.  Both venues are accessible by public transport and parking is available.

I work with individuals, couples, and groups as well as providing work-related counselling and support.

Employee counselling is also be provided in the workplace, if the client is comfortable with such an arrangement.

Some of the issues I work with include anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, relationships, compulsive behaviour, eating disorders, poor sleep, feeling isolated, lack of purpose, and emotional problems at work.

This website is designed to help you decide whether you feel Barnhill could be of service to you.

If you would like more information, call me on 07720 404710
or email sue.barnhill@googlemail.com.  I am happy to answer questions that help you make the right choice.

Especially if  you are new to counselling / psychotherapy, I recommend that you look at some of the independent guidance that I have assembled on the Links page.
